Springstep

Observed on the 26th of Timic, this day celebrates the end of the frost and the beginning of the planting season. It is celebrated by breaking up any remaining snow piles and ice sheets and spreading it in the sun to melt. Often today is the day that farmers will plan their fields for the year.

History

This holiday was celebrated starting in the 3rd century AA, and has been observed ever since.

Execution

Families begin this day by clearing any remaining snow from their property, and then going around doing the same for those who are less able. Many farmers then wander their land, planning their fields for the year.
