The Cult of the Chained God
This cult is dedicated to Kozic, the Chained God. They are intent on freeing him from his prison, and spreading his influence far and wide.
Structure
The Cult of the Chained God has little organized structure, but they look up to any that have braved the Chained Reach and spoken with Kozic himself. Kozic has a few devoted followers that know his true intentions and direct his cultists appropriately.
Public Agenda
The cults goals are to reduce civilization to nothing, and let chaos reign supreme on the world. They believe that everybody is equal in a world absent of laws and rulers, and strive to bring that world into existence. They always look for ways to release the Chained God, Kozic, so that he can bring about an era of chaos, not knowing that he would seek to establish a tyrannical rule of his own.
Assets
This cult is illegal, and is targeted by both the crown and the church. What assets it has are not organized, but utilized in the cells that they are brought to.
History
The Cult of the Chained God has existed for as long as humans have. Those that followed Kozic into Ember created the cult, and though it has been nearly destroyed a few times in the Little Kingdoms history, it has always come back. Its members have sought to undo society, and have been behind some of the most destructive and harmful acts of the Age of Awakening.
Mythology & Lore
These cultists believe that long ago, humanity fled their home world with Kozic in search of a place where they could be free from the tyranny of others. They came to Ember, which was a place of beautiful chaos, and were happy. But the Twin Gods followed them, and imprisoned Kozic, forcing order and society upon humanity once more.
Divine Origins
This cult already existed when humans came to Ember, as many who worshiped Kozic came with him from their home world.
Tenets of Faith
Seek always to destabilize society and tear down civilization so that finally the world can be free of such corruptions.
