Ilmater's Influence

As of 300 YR, there are rumors of a church still holding the tenets of Ilmater deep in the coastal jungles, but no priests have been seen in civilized lands in several generations.

Worshipping Ilmater

Legends say that Ilmater would appear in the mortal realm at times of great suffering, and would personally take that burden upon himself to liberate the mortal(s) who had gotten his attention. Many prisoners and victims of war would send pleas to Ilmater that he might intervene on their behalf.

Ilmater's Champions

While not their leader, the Ilmatari are mostly associated with the goblin knight Aeliel Fernslough, based on his multiple appearances in a series of popular novels about The Lightkeepers. 

Myths and Legends of Ilmater

Sundered Service - As described in Kiirshi's Tale, the awakening of the temple at Gobford had brought to light ancient claims that Ilmater is connected to an older Xolmec diety, and was pulled into this realm by Vecna in the days after the Emergence.
