King Garrius Salira
Garrius Salira is the youngest master of one of the Seven Houses in Populresi history. When he turned eight, he was already demonstrating the intellect and abilities of a genius, and he was able to wield magic of fairly substantial power only a scant few years later. As was tradition, he slew the previous master of the house, his grandfather at the age of thirteen, and his father and siblings yielded their claims to him. When he was eighteen, the previous King of Populres passed, and he saw a golden opportunity. Despite his youth and the house's position, he was considered to be the least objectionable of the masters than any of the others. He was elected unanimously and selected to be the youngest king in Populres' history in 1038.
Since becoming king, he has kept a tight focus upon the expansion of House Salira's powers and clans, occasionally at the expense of others. He has demonstrated his magical abilities in four duels against other contenders, but he has most actively begun advocating for a full expedition to be sent north to end the threat of the undead once and for all. Many believe his ambitions ultimately extend to eliminating any threats to the Populresi people.
