Riddles in the Wind
Riddles in the Wind is written by a recently vanished Ranger, and talks about the near-legendary sphynxes that presumably guard the most remote locations and greatest treasures of Alsona. The book has gained ample popularity among the masses and is already on its second publishing. The book claims that the Rangers have a sphynx head in a secret trophy room, and that the creature is the only one known to be slain. They are said to live hundreds of years and guard passages to other realms and hidden treasures. Allegedly they control both time and space, and always serve a master, rather than act on their own. According to the book, Simos was to set out and capture a sphynx, and add another trophy to the Rangers’ Lodge, but he never returned.
