Money and music is fun. That’s all Darisa needs. It’s all that pushes out the constant sensation of people staring at her horns and tail. They are lusting as well as fearing for her. She uses all of it to her advantage.
Even though Darisa lives for her art and passions, a lot of it has become an escape to push out the guilt she feels for abandoning her daughter. She had not planned to have children, ever. However, her relationship with the mysterious Proudstride led to various things she never thought she'd desire. Falling for his honsety and kindness, something she hadn't experienced a lot as a traveling devil-kin, but one day he just left with little to no explanation. She wanted to be angry with him, but she couldn't. She just misses. After the birth of her daughter, Darisa soon realized that her way of life was not suited for a child and she could barely make enough for herself. She decided she'd be better of living with at her sister's, who was a settled tinkerer. After some convincing, Yaspira agreed to take Rimeia in. Darisa promised to send money, which she did as often as she could while she performed in the various corners of the world.
On her journey she encountered a group, among them a fairy named Flare whom she saved from people trying to capture her for money. Darisa decided to take care of her and in doing so realized how much actually missed her own daughter. After finishing her adventure with the group, she returned to Yaspira. Unfortunetly, Rimeia had been sent away to Arathorn; a school which could never be found. Devastated by the news, a huge argument followed. Darisa became depressed, drowining her sorrows in the bottle and nightly lovers.
