Irkath's Plane

Like all Aspects, Irkath has a parallel plane that overlaps with Emynea. However, as a mental aspect, instead of running parallel to the physical world this plane instead bridges and connects to all minds. There is a part of everyone's mind connected to and set aside for thoughts, memories and emotions related to Irkath—their subconscious. These connections link to Irkath's Plane which is located in part of Zalikar's own mind. Most manifestations or other forms of magic related to Irkath draw from this plane or convey some form of access. Irkath itself is a consciousness existing within its plane. It is a splinter, a portion of Zalikar's whole mind

Geography

by Lee Stepp

Every mind has a portal which leads to their subconscious, often taking the form of a well or cave. Each of these portions of their mind lead back to Irkath's Plane. Secrets, lost knowledge and the like are represented by either a thick black tar or little black maggots or worms. These wriggle and coagulate within these wells, springs and caves. Within the plane itself mirrors the Cryptic Karst. There are even springs within the actual karst which act as portals from the physical world and into this plane. One able to parse the visions and revelations these waters inpart can discover lost knowledge, ancient secrets and the answer to almost any questions, even if they come dressed in cryptic riddles and metaphors. Irkath flits about his caves, often resembling an owl or a plague doctor. He tempts those traveling his caves and springs with juicy secrets, roping the unwary into sketchy deals or corrupting them with his secrets.

Localized Phenomena

All secrets, lies, concealments, lost or forgotten knowledge, subconscious memories or desires and the like are stored within this plane. Irkath has a constant tug of war with Kanilwyr over knowledge, determined by what is common knowledge vs what remains forgotten or unknown. One can access this immense knowledge through Irkath's waters but they are also guarded by cryptic riddles and symbolic visions. Irkath doesn't give away his secrets easily or freely.
