Zalikar begins hunting down those with dark racial magic, taking his revenge for their betrayal and eliminating their bloodlines. Many who possess these forms go into hiding and only the most persistent and hardy survive this period. He eventually realizes those left are at no fault, those who betrayed him taken by age.
