Diaxcabardian Island Chain
The Diaxcabardian Island Chain is a group of Islands off the southern coast of Diaxcabard. It is a claimed island chain, however, it is mostly unregulated due to the volcanic nature of the islands. Only those who are brave enough to live on these islands live there, and the population is few and far between. Most of the people are concentrated on the bigger islands since the volcanoes are easier to avoid. Still, for the most part, it's a lawless and unregulated region, even with the small population involved. All that is asked of the locals and tourists is to respect each other and the land, and everything will be fine.
Geography
Mountainous and volcanic islands off the southeast tip of Diaxcabard. It is surrounded by the Lunen Ocean. There are delightful views to be seen by the ocean. There are places to stay on the biggest of the islands, Jimehya and Lylia, although frequent volcanic eruptions makes it difficult to get on and off the island sometimes.
Ecosystem
There are a few different ecosystems within the Diaxcabardian Island Chain. For the parts closest to Diaxcabard's coast, there are savanas, alpines, and temperate rain forests. However, the further south you go, the colder it becomes. Thus, there are also tundras and even two arctic islands.
Localized Phenomena
Black Sand Beach in Lylia, which is a result of eroded volcanic materials such as lava, basalt rocks, and other dark colored materials. This is a massive tourist attraction.
Natural Resources
Plenty of obsidian, pumice, gold, aluminum, and nickel. Soil is nutrient rich due to the volcanoes. It also has plenty of geothermic energy to comine with natural miasma energy.
Tourism
Those who are brave enough to take a tour of the islands are likely to visit the volcanoes, such as Mt. Kēmarī, Mt. Pīelê, and Mt. Mâhrena. Others like to hike through the temperate rain forests and the mountainous regions. Some like to go to the beaches, especially the Black Sand Beach in Lylia.
