Naming Conventions

Each clan had their own suffix added to their first name.

• Tyná Clan: the clan famous for the leader who united the country of Rhanalan at the end of the Era of the Kingdoms, Lhe'tyná Dheycia.

• Jahīm Clan: a clan infamous for vying for power in the early Age of the Kingdoms, known for their brutality. The other clans fighting for power during that time, were the Káli and the Cirae. Jahīm failed in their power struggle, given their reliance on brutality tactics.

• Káli Clan

• Cirae Clan: the Clan which has the capital named after them, which was not done in the time they were in power. Instead, given their massive influence, in the late Age of Adventure, the president named the capitol after them. The Cirae's dynasty was well-known for its kindness and ability to relate to the regular person. Their tax rates were not high, they allowed art and literature to flourish.

If someone was exiled from their clan, the clan indicator would be dropped in a ritual before exile.

Culture

Major language groups and dialects

Influenced the common tongue of Orien, as well as was the basis of the Rhanalanian language.

Common Customs, traditions and rituals

Kalinyí on Nav'án: the ritual performed on exilees to drop their clan designation. Their name is written on a leaf, the clan designation is torn off and thrown into a firepit, and the town leaders would recite a prayer to wish the exilee a good journey but to never come back, and that perhaps they will learn from their mistakes and grow from them.

Funerary and Memorial customs

Funeral pyres built to send the souls of the dead back to the miasma stream. Burials were only performed for murderers, rapists, and pedophiles, as that ensured there was no way for them to return to the stream and poison it.

Mourning took approximately six months. If a family member passed away, mourning took a year.

Historical figures

• Lhe'tyná Dheycia was the uniter of Rhanalan at the end of the Age of the Kingdoms. When the previous queen fell, there was a power vacuum. And Lhe'tyná, being one of her advisors and closest friends, she decided to fight for power to continue her friend's work to make Rhlanan a better, friendlier, and more powerful country so that the world would respect them.

Ideals

Gender Ideals

All genders were equal under the law, which is still felt in numerous countries across the world. The earliest concept of all genders being equal originated here in Rhlanan. Every gender had equal opportunities for jobs, rearing children, education, and more.
