Vampire

Vampires were mortals who denied death usually through some dark pact they made while still alive. Most vampires sustain their undeath by feeding on mortals, with the most common source of sustenance being blood but there are known case of one who feed on a victim's energy or even dreams.   Vampires are categorized into 7 lineages, identified by their unique abilities and behaviors, which stem from the carnal desires they most exhibited in life.
  1. Luxuria (Lust) - Vampires who died with a desire to fulfill the most carnal desires in their hearts. Once awakened, they search high and low for someone who will love them back, to awaken that person’s lust, and turn them into a Vampire, which is why they often come in pairs, called Paramours.
  2. Gula (Gluttony) - Vampires that have an animalistic desire for consumption. Those who wished to indulge in their vices past satiation, just for the joy of consumption, turn into Gula Vampires.
  3. Avaritia (Greed) - Mortals who die and come back as vampires with an intense desire for accumulation in their hearts. Whether their desire was for riches, fame, or even adoration, the Vampires that belong to this group have the intense desire to possess something in great quantities.
  4. Acedia (Sloth) - Vampires that are created when someone with the desire to ignore their responsibilities and live an idle existence neglecting their duties is afflicted with vampirism.
  5. Ira (Wrath) - Vampires who unleash their anger, self-righteous or not, on those they judge to be deserving of their hatred. Those who die with a desire for revenge or retribution in their hearts often turn into Ira Vampires.
  6. Invidia (Envy) - Vampires who covet what others hold dear. Those who die with a desire for something that someone other than themselves possesses turn into Invidia Vampires.
