(a.k.a. Vereufil)
Kresla is an ex-soldier now in her twilight years, her glory days now far behind her. She founded Sunrise to feel like she did back in her youth, though she prefers not to think if she does it for the glory and respect of her peers and allies, or the fear and hatred of her enemies.
Physical Description
Kresla still takes care of her body even at her age, maintaining her brawny build as best she could for the past 30-something years. Age is visible based on her looser stature and face, but her apparent muscle mass makes up for all that.
The lower-right corner of her face is scarred and pink, remnants of a dog attack from her days in The Pushing War. Though the original wound resulted in it (along with her jawbone) being ripped off, magic has been able to repair it to an extent.
Mental characteristics
Kresla's life started at the age of 13, when she enlisted herself into the Damerill Advancement Front in The Pushing War, the war against Kelmore. She quickly proved herself powerful enough in combat and managing troops, climbing the ranks to Brigadier General just before the war's end.
However, once 1458 came along and a petty peace was negotiated, with most agreeing that no side was truly the winner, Kresla returned home to modest celebrations that lasted the lesser half of a week before she found herself aimless. She was still enlisted for service, but the following years of general guard and police work were unsatisfying at best, painfully reminding her of the war at worst. She traveled around Endhaven and Damerill for the following time, but only found more disappointment wherever she went. This came in the form of miscarriages of justice, petty grievances being resolved poorly or bottled until imploding, or any number of other factors that made these places horrible to live in.
She resolved to make a change with what was left of her service pay and founded One Whole, primarily aiming to establish a political platform pushing for the individual's choice and best interests. This grew into a hearty following, though tore itself apart soon after with the advent of The Commonwealth. Those few remaining tapered off or were hunted down for their connection to the ever-growing infamous faction.
Kresla revised her plans, now sensing that something was off in how her ideas went into play. She figured that there was some larger force at work, something that did not allow her ideology to come true, something larger than mankind but able to be harnessed by as much as a single individual: fate.
In 1489 Sunrise was founded and dedicated to stopping those who chose to mess with fate and its delicate universal balance. The path to get to this point was long and arduous, but now that she has several members she can trust, she cannot wait to put them into action.
History
Kresla was originally intended to be a victim of Kahea'ike's robbery, but turned the tables by catching her in the act. This was how Kresla induced Kahea'ike into Sunrise, primarily by promising a way to help her gain more information and expand her horizons.
History
Paramarath pledged loyalty to One Whole, as well as its founder, Kresla, soon after his freedom, and has stayed by her side even after the dissolution. Kresla saw something in Paramarath early on, and could feel that he also knew what it was like to be set so far apart even from the most untouchable of outcasts, and found someone she could finally bond with.
However, as Kresla slowly drifts further into senility and the subject of fate, Paramarath is starting to become wary of her and her interest in him. Deep down, he is starting to wonder if she is just using him for his gift, though he refuses to acknowledge it as a possibility.
