Hruggek, the Dread Ambusher

Hruggek was the first Bugbear, a massive and brutal goblinoid capable of hiding in spaces smaller creatures could not fit into. Hruggek honed his unique martial abilities and was rewarded by Maglubiyet with a place at his side on Acheron. His children grew to become the Bugbears, a Goblinoid subrace who inherited his gifts of strength and surprise. A fearsome and violent warrior, Hruggek appears to mortals as a white-furred Bugbear, wielding a massive morningstar.
