Maglubiyet, the Great Scourge

Creator and God King of the Goblinoids, Maglubiyet is, unsurprisingly, a god of War. The Battle Lord seeks not to subjugate the other species, but wipe them out, so that his Goblinoids may rule the Material Plane from their underground lairs unopposed. Once, Maglubiyet attempted to conquer the Feywild, as he was a powerful Archfey before he became a God. He and his Goblins attempted numerous times to unseat the Seelie and Unseelie Courts, but were unsuccessful everytime. The other Archfey saw his incursions as amusing distractions, which infuriated the Goblin King. The other Archfey grew bored with his assaults over time, however, and tasked Corellon and the fledgling Elves with repelling the Goblinoids. When the majority of Elves migrated to the Material Plane, Maglubiyet and his servants followed. The strange new land of Endunia presented new challenges, so Maglubiyet empowered some of his Goblins with greater size, power and intellect, as well as cruelty, creating the Hobgoblins. It was on Endunia that living Goblins and Orcs first clashed, a familiar sight to their gods, however, as they had been fighting in the Afterlife on Acheron since time immemorial. Despite despising all other Gods, the Maglubiyet holds particular enmity for Gruumsh and his Orcs. Maglubiyet and his people continued to harass their uncountable enemies, and carved out their wretched kingdoms throughout the lands. Maglubiyet usually presents himself as a tall Goblin with black skin and flaming eyes, with long arms ending in cruel talons.
