The Republic
The Republic of Confederated Kalyxian States, more commonly known as the Republic is the first large scale human democratic society. Human rebels fought a long and bloody war against the nobility for the right to elect their own leaders rather than having them chosen by birth. Though the nation talks a big game about ideals and values, many people do not currently have the right to vote, as you must own land in order to vote.
