Lierin was born to Oseia and Laeroth Sol. She came into the world with her best friend and sister, Krinoa Sol. Lierin had always been a flighty and irresponsible girl, who enjoyed pulling pranks more than actually caring about her noble status or school. When the Calamity happened, she and Krinoa had been left in the safety of Aeris under the care of their nanny, Rashi. The rest of the Sol family had left a week earlier on a trip and never made it back to Aeris. Lierin and Krinoa were nine when they became the only two living Sols.

Lierin and Krinoa are the perfect outcome of twins. All through their life they have been close and relied on each other. Whenever one was in trouble the other was immediately there to be a comfort and a help. Even to the point of sacrificing their own wants and needs to help their sister.

History

Rhys was previously arranged to marry Lierin's older sister, then Krinoa. He didn't really want to marry anyone, he would much rather focus on his work, but his parents were set on raising their status and part of that plan was to have him marry into the Sols. It was something decided before the calamity, and he never had a say but he was fairly used to that. He would have probably been happier with Krinoa, she had a good head on her shoulders unlike Lierin, but he was too compassionate. Lierin had begged him to pretend like he was in love with her. She told him that so her sister could marry the man she truly loved, Eldiwin. It didn't take much convincing, he was going to be unhappy with whoever he was with and at least him and Lierin both had no others plans. He supposes some part of him did want the shyer Sol twin to be happy.
