Tiefling

A race of humanoids with devilish features. They are particularly prevalent in Aeris due to the Church of the Nine Hells improving the general view of the populace towards tieflings. Tieflings age similar to humans, but tend to be longer lived due to their infernal heritage.

Tieflings are the result of any union between a devil, or demon, with a humanoid. In addition, humanoids (or their future children) who make pacts with devil's may develop infernal features as a reflection of their dealings.

A notable example of an elf-turned-tiefling is Maat Kheru. Despite this, most tieflings are natural born and have had zero direct dealings with the Hells.
