Harmondale's history is long and bloody, a point of contention between the Erathian Empire and the Kingdom of AvLee.

History

During the Restoration Wars, Archibald influenced the populace to start a war of independence and this is how Harmondale was formed.

Castle Harmondale

Castle Harmondale was completed in 689 AS the first line of defense against Elvish forces led by King Lothoe IV during the Timber Wars. In a sign of things to come, it fell to an Elvish assault just three years later at the infamous Battle for Harmondale. Since then, the castle has changed hands 13 times in bloody conflicts with hundreds of deaths, it has fallen to a state of ruin afterwards.
In 1169 it was de grand price of the Emerald Island scavenger hunt and new lords restored the castle.
