Ruling Council of Mages and Magics

The Ruling Council of Mages and Magics, more commonly known as the Mages' Council, is a government body originally founded to serve as an advisory capacity in regards to all things magical for the Emperor of Hinsor. Later {date forthcoming}, the Council successfully argued for its own rights to regulate all things in regards to magic usage, such as:

passing laws regarding the usage of magics
establishing and certifying magical institutions of learning (Rothler College of Magework, for example)
regulating the trade of magical goods and services
the prosecution for and punishment of crimes committed with magic, by magicals, or to influence magic

The Council is one of the only organizations which is allowed to work within both Lleeld and Harenland freely (the other being the Toren Trade Guild) after the fall of the Hinsor Empire, allowing for a continuity in regards to magical regulations of all kinds in both countries.
