The Black Cliffs
The Black Cliffs refer to the geographical structures on either side of the Devil's Scar channel. The cliff face of these coastal mountains almost seem to have been scooped away and filled with water, causing the inner rock of both mountains on the Isle of Inselgrune and the Black Cliffs region to be exposed to the world.
Geography
The coast of the channel is surrounded by twin jutting cliffs that follow the contours of the waterway, exposing the black jutting scars of gabbro, diabase, basalt, diorite, norite, and anorthosite that give the Black Cliffs their name.
Natural Resources
gabbro, diabase, basalt, diorite, norite, or anorthosite, as well as a large amount of coal, and other pressured carbon-based gems.
