A humble shop of origins,
Royal Bubbles is a bubble tea and coffee shop located in Dross, Calecroft, in Magnesia. The shop has pretty active business going for it due to the owner winning a reality T.V show where drink restaurants compete against one another in a battle of creativity in making the prettiest, and most delicious, drinks. For this, the shop is well known for its season winning drink and complimentary food,
Kiko Explosion, stuffed Bubble Waffle and their famous
Baatjinese fried chicken.
History
Royal Bubbles started off as a small shop opened by a Baatjinese woman named
Binna. Looking to spread more of her nation's food further into Terrandt, she found the opportunity in Dross. The shop became a niche hit with the highschooler and young adult crowd, with many coming in afterschool or during their lunch breaks to enjoy her delicious bubble tea and her simple, but effective, menu. Profit was rolling in very well, and it seemed like a very lucrative time.
Binna was then told by a close friend of hers working a shift that a reality T.V show was looking for players in a new season of its competitive run, and that it would behoove her to try out the spotlight for a change. Binna took the challenge and filled out the paperwork. Out of the thousands and thousands of entries, hers was selected, and she was pitted against 15 other restaurants and businesses that specialized in beverages. The season would have 10 episodes, with the finale having three restaurants face off with the hardest challenge yet - serving customers in the sweltering Sur'Dahlian heat.
Despite all of the challenges and the struggles, Binna successfully made herself ontop and became champion. Her tin shop soon exploded with activity with many coming far and wide to sample the different teas she had and sample the simple street food she remembered growing up on as a little girl.
Samara and
Calamity love to frequent this shop due to their coffee and tea - especially the latter, tea being her favorite to consume. Cal loves the street food and desserts they offer, usually going for the domeberry bundt cakes thats sold in the refrigerated window with all of the other cakes and chilled sweets.
