Naporia

Naporia is the capital city of the Duchy of Southmarch. It is located to the far East of Albion, straddling the trade river Donaris that feeds into the West, and which is the city's lifeblood. It is the smallest city of all Albion, with less than 20,000 inhabitants. It is the location of the headquarters of The Dunwarden.

History

Naporia is (alongside Livon) the Easternmost extent of Imperial colonial settlement. Not much more than a frontier town in those days, Naporia grew into a fortified city over time, only to be ransacked entirely by Rura, the ravager, and his Eastern horde. To this day the city has not recovered from the sacking by the Rurii, and would have fallen into decay were it not for the Dunwarden who support the settlement.
