1. The Silent Isle

After a week of sailing from the docks of Rivenlock the party arrived on the Silent Isle with the supplies and men they hired to rebuild the town and construct their keep. They decided to start by clearing away the massive amounts of vegetation that had reclaimed both Trapper port itself and The Lighthouse .
The first few days of work on the island seem to go ok but as the week passes by the workers begin to feel uneasy and sense that they are being watched. Things begin to get worse as two of the workers disappear in the night, their tracks lost as they enter the town. The group has everyone sleep on the boats and Bosh keeps watch to make sure no one leaves and that stops the disappearances. However some of the workers begin to become even more paranoid. Bosh, Diaz , and Knuckles McGruff take the three who are the most paranoid and they let them go through the forest. Eventually one of them seemes to lose his sense and attempts to leave the group. Bosh quickly grabs onto him and orders Diaz to take the rest back to towm. On his way back one of the two escape into the jungle.
By this time the group has called Ka'unaha to join them and they wait for the night to pass to continue following where the paranoid worker wants to go in the morning. During the night Diaz hears a sound and decidedes to follow it. A large shambling creatures is slowing moving down a path tearing trees as it goes. Diaz follows for about 30 minutes before the creature stops. it then turns around and despite Diaz hiding the creature attacks and proceeds to try and eat him. Luckily before being engulfed Diaz is able to get a shot from his pistol off.
The rest of the group hear this and Ka'uhane and Knuckles come racing through the jungles to help. They arrive just in time to save Diaz and Knuckles bites his way into the shambling mound's stomach.

In the morning the group follows the last paranoid worker to a large field of carnivorous flowers. Knuckles find this out first hand as multiple flowers attack and attempt to harm him. The burn down a few but eventually decided to travel around the field as they see a woman on the other side who fades back into the woods.
They eventually reach an old set of ruins and see the woman. She tells them they she is the island and says they must leave if they plan to build here. They eventually fight and during the fight Bosh and Knuckles go down. sadly while Bosh was able to be healed by Ka'uhane, Knuckles perished inside a wall of thorns. Diaz eventually was able to deal the killing blow and the islands oppressive feeling immediately vanished. They traveled back to Trapperport and continued work without any more troubles on the island.
