Personal history

Darlen came from a minor noble family in Quendar. He grew up in a family more dedicated to knowledge and both his father and mother were members of The Keepers . Darlen however, early on found he had a gift for strategy and arms. He used his expertise to rise quickly through the Alterian ranks. As an adult he was eventually given the command of high Marshal of the armies of Quendar to fight in the Sozarian rebellion. It was during this campaign that he met his end. During the siege of Ravndal Darlen crossed blades with a groups of mercenaries from Boshton who had betrayed Alteria and joined the Sozarian side. He had originally hired them to fight for Alteria so their betrayal cut deep. These mercenaries cut down his guards and killed him in combat thus beginning a route of his forces during the battle and giving the day to the Sozarian forces.

Employment

Darlen spent the majority of his life working in the Alterian military. Though he could use firearms he was more comfortable with large two handed weapons and remained a key strategist in the campaigns against the Vestonians.
