Greenswood
Geography
This large forest is dense and filled with variety. Whereas most of Restonia is a flat plain the forest itself rises up and then fills a valley. A slight rise back up creates a natural levy for the Tolen River on the eastern side of the forest. The natural flooding of the river however causes the valley to flood. This creates a swampish flooded forest at the base of the valley. The forest itself, already very wet, becomes even more harsh from the standing water of the swamp. The western side of the forest has many small hills and crests which provide the best natural views of Restonia.
Fauna & Flora
Many large predators live within the Greenswood. These include bears, alligators, and panthers. These animals prey on smaller rabbits, birds, and rodents of various sizes. Large snakes can also be found within the swamps.
Natural Resources
Though little is done in the way of actual logging, the trees in the Greenswood provide a large source of wood for Alteria.
