Sozar
Geography
The large island continent of Sozar is a desolate place. Home to glaciers, craggy wastelands and inhospitable salt marshes, Sozar is is a difficult place to call home. The island is separated by three mountain ranges with an open plain in the center. The Torn and Korindale mountain ranges travel vaguely north to south and meet near the southern end of Sozar. The Frozen peaks travel east where they connect with the Korindales to west where they meet the Torn. Two main rivers flow along the southern part of the island. These are the Forkal and Westream and while they are not large rivers they do provide the only real source of freshwater to those who live on Sozar. While the areas to the south are habitable even during the winter, the northern part is covered in glaciers and hurricane like winds year round preventing any exploration. Inside of the three mountain ranges lies the heart of the continent. Here large open plains of craggy rock and salted soil prevent all but the most hardy of crops to grow.
Fauna & Flora
While most of the island is barren fir and pine tree can be found on the southern end of the continent scattered in a few small forests and along the base of the mountains. Most of the land is filled with either empty low plains with small grasses or tiny bushes.
Natural Resources
Soazr is home to many desirable natural resources including salt, ice, coal, iron, and silver. However the most precious resource on the island is Fjoream.
