The plague that destroyed a dynasty.

The plague of 1316 scoured Westreach killing hundreds of thousands of people. The Kingdom of Alteria was hit particularly hard as the Coreliath dynasty lost all living heirs during the epidemic. This caused a substantial shift in the political climate of the days as the much weaker house of Thessleman ended up taking the throne and the house of Lords began to suppress the royal power.
