Foxwood

Half-way down the Crusader Road, between Maldonbeck and Fort Inevitable, is the Foxwood, a grove of dedicated to the more docile creatures of the forest. It is here where Zilya, Herald of Phoenix is rumored to live, having said to negotiated the peace between the warring kingdoms of Figaro and Yevon. The forest is avoided by the Knights Zantetsuken entirely after a squad of Knights was rumored to have disappeared in the forest after being dispatched to hunt down the elusive flamekin fox. Those that bear no ill will towards nature however have said they feel at peace in the grove and have said to see a small flaming fox watching them at times.
