Spellcasting

The Manaflow is the source of all magic in Eos, both arcane and divine.
Divine casters call upon the Manaflow's connection to the souls of their deities, while arcane casters tap into the essence of the flow, manipulating its unseen power to manifest physical effects, often from other planes, into their plane of existence.
For example, a sorcerer may conjure a ball of flame from the elemental energies of the plane of fire by tapping into the Manaflow's connection between the planes.
A cleric, though, might cast a Bless spell by connecting with their patron deity via the connecting stream of the Manaflow.
Teleportation magic, similarly, is a powerful type of magic wherein users can travel through the Manaflow instantaneously, to any point within the limit of the cast spell's power.
With very few exceptions, Manaborn are the only humanoid beings in Eos that can cast magic more advanced than simple cantrips, as their connection to the Manaflow is often exponentially higher than that of ordinary denizens.
