Derith Milcantos
Director of Inquisitorial Investigators
Passed down through the bloodline of an ancient green dragon, Derith Milcantos was granted abilities to call upon powerful and destructive evocation magic. His belief is that magic should not be taught to everyone, only those who naturally possess the ability to harness and manipulate magic. He has been lobbying for the school to close their doors and stop teaching magic to people born with no magical abilities. He is incredibly rude to members of the college who have learned magic and always thinks he is better than them. He is suspected of plotting to take over leadership of the Master’s Guild, and get rid of Conjurer Hillis.
Inquisitorial Investigators
He is the head of the program at the college responsible for responding to any misuse or accidental magical circumstance. They are constantly writing and passing legislation to force civilians to adhere to a strict set of guidelines around unsupervised casting of magic. They act as if their word is law and no one is able to stand up to them without ending up arrested.Mental characteristics
Personal history
Ever since he learned of his Draconic lineage, he has been obsessed with uncovering the strength of his arcane power. He has travelled to Aéredon in an attempt to undo the God Seal which has trapped evil powers away under the mountain range for thousands of years.
Education
He spent several hundred years scouring the galaxy for information used to learn more about dragons and arcane abilities. He has been associated with the AU since it was created and helped to form the curriculum they use.
Mental Trauma
He destroyed his parents in a rage because they did not know enough answers to satisfy his mind as a kid and he thought they were hiding something from him. He is too stubborn to admit he killed them for nothing.
