The Arcanium Universalis

In the heart of The Amethyst District, the Arcanium Universalis stands tall, its crystal towers reaching towards the sky like shimmering purple mountains. As you enter the campus, you're greeted by a bustling courtyard, filled with students practicing spells, potion-making, and even the occasional friendly duel. The air is alive with the crackling of magic, and the scent of ancient tomes fills your nostrils. Throughout the campus, you'll encounter a diverse array of magical creatures. From mischievous pixies to majestic phoenixes, the AU is a haven for all things mystical. These creatures often become companions and familiars to the students, aiding them in their magical endeavors.   Inside the main building, the Great Hall is a sight to behold. Its ceiling is adorned with a mesmerizing mural depicting the history of magic, from the first incantations to the most powerful spells. The hall is often used for grand ceremonies and magical exhibitions, showcasing the talents of the students and faculty. It is where the students eat meals, study, and chat quietly. The classrooms and lecture halls are designated on each floor by magical symbols etched into the walls, amplifying the learning experience. Each room is equipped with state-of-the-art magical tools and artifacts, allowing students to practice their craft in a safe and controlled environment. The library, known as the Astral Archive, stretches as far as the eye can see. It houses countless volumes of ancient texts, grimoires, and scrolls from all corners of the magical realm. The shelves seem to go on forever, and it's said that even the most experienced scholars can get lost in its vast depths.   The Masters Guild, led by Carrac Hillis, is a council of highly skilled and respected wizards, each representing a different school of magic. They guide the students, offering their wisdom and expertise, and occasionally organizing thrilling quests and challenges for those who seek to test their magical prowess. They are some of the oldest, wisest and most powerful minds in the known world.

Culture

The Arcanium Universalis is given absolute impunity within The Kingdom of Aéredon to monitor the adhesion to proper rules and regulations of the Magical Conduct Laws passed by the King. Their final word is law in many cases. As the wielders of arcane power, they have the fear and respect of the common people. People are scared to go against the word of the AU and believe what they are told by the college, even when this directly goes against the teachings of Aere, or any diety.

Public Agenda

The Arcanium Universalis is determined to protect the public of Aéredon. Their agents are all over the Kingdom working and watching at all times. They are never far away and are always keeping an eye on everything. They are monitoring the use of magic and keeping an eye out for anyone who might abuse their powers. These Inquisitorial Investigators often work in teams of two, alongside a Watcher of The Sun Swords.
