Lord of Embers

The Lord of Embers is one of the 3 lords of the Vile Verdant. He has a base in the Emberstone. He seems to be a large dragon (technically a drake) that lives in the lava pools of the Emberstone. His forces consist mostly of reasonably trained and equipped kobolds, as well as a pack of fire drakes. In his service are also 2 duergar brothers that provide equipment and smithing. He seems to be the least active of the 3 lords, content to bully and take what he needs without joining the power struggle too much. The party had an audience with him and requested aid in once again warming Dursa Lake. Though possible for him, as he could rechannel the underground lava streams, he would require payment for such a deed. He gave the option of offering 500 gold (in coins or gems) as monetary payment or to help him check up on and fix a problem he has been having with some subjects, who are late with their tributes. The party not having a lot of coin, opted for aiding the dragon and was sent with Garruush to a nearby patch of bog and swampland and resolve the issue.
