Fureiyn (Fuhr-ayn)
Fureiyns are descendant of the blood of Moon Elves and Celestials, having been granted this boon by their deity, Iona. The race has lived in Western Galea since beyond memory and no one remembers their reason for settling in the valley that has become Leidrin. Fureiyn scholars know that the beginnings of the Fureiyns as the people they are today can be traced back to the first of the Taeles, a hero during the Celestian War. The clerics of Iona preach that the Fureiyns have been blessed by the gods, though in the last century there is belief that Iona may be displeased. The last few generations of the royal family have not had wings like their predecessors.
Fureiyns have the pale-to-fair skin. Their Moon Elf heritage lends them dark hair, generally ranging from Black to Auburn. Their eyes are pale, in colors of blue, gray, silver or violet. Their height is of the same range of humans, though their form is usually slender. Like other elves, they can not grow facial or body hair, and they generally keep the hair on their head long.
