Kylael Toria (Ky-lay-ehl Tor-ee-ah)
The capital city of Alcarasion (formerly Kylael Toria) sits on the Numera Strait in the southernmost portion of Lauranye. It is a city of knowledge and splendors, its homes as intricately and elegantly designed as the lithe elves believe themselves to be. Each home is magically constructed to suit the tastes of the family that designed it, with the homes of nobles being the most ostentatious and extravagant. Many of the noble homes sit against the mountainside, with a view of both the city and the strait.
Government
Traditionally, the nobles of each city in Lauranye rule, with the most powerful being the de facto leader. In recent years, a charismatic Gold Elf by the name of Craston Sion seized power, using fear to convince the Gold Elves that the kingdom to the west was a threat. The Gold Elves gave him almost total control, and he used his power to subjugate many of the fey races and burn down Hemgrove Forest, sending the rest scattering.
