Sielen

Sielen was once part of the grand Eidalaeren territory called Iondor. In those times, the region of Western Galea and the continent of Avonan were not separated by the Numera Strait, and the area of Iondor encompassed the entire region. Iondor's most magnificent city was known as Talenthil, and it was located where Caerdsdryl is today. The Eidalaeren were dragon-riding elves who inhabited much of Erde, building grand cities and governing over all manner of races.   Over time, Talenthil became known as the jewel of Galea. Its splendors rivaled no other, except perhaps the capital of the Eidalaeren race, Asene. As it grew, many flocked to trade and began to settle there. The Eidalaeren, who governed Iondor, began to become accepting of the many other peoples who wanted to live within the territory's borders. The city continued to flourish and grow in a variety of cultures.   The flourishing city attracted many a deity, who in those days wandered Erde freely, teaching their talents to the mortal races. One such god who liked to visit Iondor frequently was the Sky Mother Iona, Goddess of the Moon, and Sky. She grew close with the Iondori governor, Dragon-Lord Sylian Taele, and his White Dragon Silma. They would often meet to talk about the mysteries of the world.   Emperor Corian Aritae I, ruler of the Eidalaeren, was incensed by the allowance of those he deemed lesser races settling in lands that were designated to his people. He sent emissaries to the Iondori governors to order them to evict the non-elves from the territory.
