Solaris (Soh-lah-ris)
Solaris stretches from coast to coast in Terra, much like Eternia and Lazanan do in Galea. The eastern border is made up of the Actean Sea, and their western border, littered in mountains, plateaus, and hills, meets the Amasha Sea. The northern border is also hilly, and is dotted with the homes of the Seers. In the south lies a darkened region, guarded heavily by Solaran Knights who allow no one to pass.
The capital city of Anoria is a splendid array of gold and bronze, looking to be made of the sun itself. All the cities in Solaris are built this way to honor their goddess Anka. Anoria and other cities rise up out of the mostly sunny but arable lands of Solaris. Much of their water comes from the snow-capped peaks of the mountains to the west, though Solaris does have a rainy season. Their primary form of transport are large, flightless birds that are found all over the mid-to-southern regions of Terra called Foens.
Queen Herea Sundaughter rules Solaris through divine right, believed to be chosen by Anka herself. She is just and fair, and despite her strong, somewhat cold demeanor, she is well-loved by her people.
