Pauldron

Pauldron is a Kamerian power metal band from Stamlow, Flusserdorf. They formed with the explicit intent to keep alive the spirit of bards singing songs about heroes that goes all the way back to the Age of Iron. The majority of their songs are about war heroes, great battles, notable moments in military history, and famous military units. Since plenty of bardsong already exists for heroes of older ages, Pauldron's music mostly focuses on history from the Age of the Boiler and afterwards.

History

Pauldron was formed from a group of friends who would perform at Iron Age Festivals around northwestern Kameria. Chet Bruden grew tired of simply performing songs about heroism and drinking songs from the Age of Iron, and wanted to begin writing their equivalents for the Age of the Circuit. He recruited brothers Rick and Roth Bieri, Yvo Van Sayer from another musical troupe that performed the same festivals as the other three, then found Daniel Hemi after putting out an ad for a lead guitarist.

Nyku is something of a mystery to the public. They openly identify as nonbinary, but present in a highly feminine way on stage. Outfits vary from a heavy Yashimese theming to taking after the aesthetic of Lich War era pinup paintings, but they always perform wearing the same mask on stage, in interviews and while shooting music videos. They also make a point of speaking as little as possible. Nyku made a name for themselves posting guitar covers online, most notably covers of Pauldron songs that some came to prefer to the original recording. When Logan Nash vacated the Lead Guitar slot, Nyku auditioned. When they were taken in as the new lead guitarist, there was much rejoycing.

Left the band minutes before a show at a smaller venue in a fit of pique. He was replaced within the hour by:
