Echti
Echti is the old language that the Ecths spoke before claiming the rule of Kardien. As the common language of Kardien is Low Jori the noble Echts kept their own language to be spoken mongs themselves. There is a common saying amongst the Kardian nobles.
You speak and write Imperial Jori when you talk to the church. Amongst your peers you speak Echti. Low Jori are used when you talking to your horse or serfs.
