Barbarians arrives from the west to Ransard. Some of them continues northwards and found the country Jorduashur.
Black bloods, mostly Orcs, arrives in the Kard mountains from the west. Hostilities ensues.
Hanric, the son of Omric are born.
Hanric Silvertounge, son of Omric weds princess Timrin of Belgoth. The country Belgoth contains the two areas known as Ransland and Nordland. In accordance with the King of Belgoth a deal is made that the crown of Belgoth shall go to Hanric if the Belgoth king dies without male heirs.
The clan chieftants of Belgoth rebels against their King. The rebellion are defeated after many years of bloody warfare. Many of the present clan feuds in the former Belgoth have their origins in the great freedom war.
The King of Belgoth dies without male heirs and according to the deal the Kingdom becomes part of Ransard.
The western clans of the former Belgoth rise up against the Ransardian King.
Hanric Silvertounge, son of Omric, meets the rebelling clan leaders and peace are achived. The western clans are forced to emigrate to the areas south of "ljusnahalvön" where they are allowed to create a indepentend kingdom, nominally a vassal of Ransard.
Ransardians sail across the sea and reach the shores of Saphyna, a Trakorian island, where they found a colony.
The war of brothers in Ransard
The clans of the former Belgoth who resided in the area called Ljusna were defeated by a Klavykian horde led by Kornella Pantless. The reigning clan implodes and the area are lost forever.
The Kingdom Timolerien are founded east of Ransard by fugitives from the south.
Klavykians attacks the Ransardian colony on Saphyna and battles are fought on the plains of Gudiene. Ransardians are formidable warriors and in the first parts of the war they win many victories. But as the war move on their losses amass and they are pushed back to the Frimbolinplains, where they create strong defensive forts. The war turns into low intensity conflict.
After several years of low intensity wars, the Ransardian navy is destroyed in the bay of Rubakin and the Ransardian supplies are diminished. The Ransardian colonists on Saphyna are driven back. A result of the war is that the dominant clan of Ransard, The Omrics, loose the power over over Ransard. The clan Amron claims the power.
The last settlement and colonist on Pharynx falls to the Klavyks.
East of the Kard mountains the teocracy of Palionr is founded by the fanatical Ghaeril sect. The sect maintains the illusion of following the "good" God Hjallbrand, but in reality they are a cover for worshipping the evil God Ghaeril.
Palinor initiates a crusade against the heathens of Timolerien, and even though the crusade is reinforced by crusaders from the whole of Ereb, they are driven back when Timolerien gets reinforcements from Ransard.
Ransard enters an alliance with Magilre and Milacke with the intent of crushing the Klavykian realm.
Both Magilre and Ransard wants the fertile lands of Saphyna in Trakorien. When their joined forces had crushed the forces of Klavykien they can´t agree on how to divide the island. The two forces enters bloody battles against each other, but both are decieved. In a brilliant move the forces of Milacke attack both of them and they are driven back to the mainlands.
On the day of the launch of the first Palinor crusade, the Ghaerit of Palinor the second crusade against the heathens. A large army, in secret supported by necromancers, marches against Ransard. The Timolerians manage to hold against the army in the mountain passes of the Kard mountains. In the end they even manage to push back againt the numerous superior crusaders.
When the Klavykian realms were weakened by internal splintering, Edorl the Young realised that it was time for Ransard to reclaim its fallen colonies on Saphyna, and get revenge for the defeat a hundred years before. If Edorl haden´t made the tactical mistake of divideing his forces into two, the Trakorian kingdom would have been crushed even before it was created. But in the end he did and when his forces landed on Paratorn it was defeated by the local forces after vicious fighting. Without support from the crushed force the main army on Saphyna were isolated and supplies were dwindeling. Edorl the Young fell during the hard fighting and his brother Margon organised the retreat to Ransard.
After the failed war in Trakorien the distrust of Margon the Wise from the Clan Amron led to him loosing the crown. Teldoric from the Clan Omric are crowned new King (Vortiger) of Ransard.
The King of Timolerien dies without having named which of his two sons should inherit the Kingdom. Different fractions within the Kingdom sees an opportunity and forces the sons into war against each other.
The civil war is inconclusive and the Kingdom of Timolerien are divided into two independent Kingdoms, Timoria and Aleria. With the aid of Teldorin the Ransardian King a formal peace between the two kingdoms are achieved. But tensions between the two realms remains.
The third Palinor Crusade launches on the day. This time it is supported by the dwarves of the Kûld-kres in the Kard mountains, north of Palinor. The attack comes as a surprise and and Timor is swiftly defeated. A large Ransardian horde is assembled and it defeats the Palinor crusaders at the battle of "Herikols wade".
The brotherhood of the cross is founded in Aleria with the intention of defending against future crusades.
In secret Ransard sends diplomats to Saphyna and succesivly strengthen their holds on the local powers. By 462 A.O. the Saphyna is more or less under Ransadian control.
Argald Omric, son of Gorm the Old are born. He is foreseen to become Ransards greatest Vortiger in history.
Trakorian troops lands on the shores of Saphyna and Ransard sends reinforcements. The reinforcements are led by the Vortiger Gorm himself and his now eleven year old heir, Argald. After years of bloody battles it is clear that the Trakorian supremacy in manpower again become the deciding factor. Gorm realises that the situation is hopeless and that he and his son could fall on distant shores, and end the Clan Omric. Gorm assembles the remnants of the army and navy and retreats towards main land. The Trakorian navy chase them and half of the Ransardian ships never reaches the shores.
Argald Omric, son of Gorm manages to capture and tame a Griffon. Argald now named Griffontamer marries the princess Eowen of Narim (Gauland) and are sworn in as Vortiger. Several Griffons captured in the Kard mountains are tamed by the Ransard warriors.
On the hundred years day of the former crusade, the fourth leaves its encampments marching towards Ransard. The fourth crusade is not as prepared and organised as the former crusades. The Ransardians have been forewarned and with their new allies the Griffons the invasion is easily defeated. Alginor the Griffontamer personally slays the commanding wizard, Krarr.
Joran the Golden, son of Argald expands Ransard in all directions but the winter turns out to be one of the hardest ever. It is called winter of the wolves. The barbarians from Oghir invades from east and west. The Black bloods from the Kard mountains leaves the peaks in search of food. Many Ransardians are killed from warfare, cold and starvation. The region called Narim is hit the hardest and Ransard supports them with food, firewood and furs.
The King of Narim decides that Narim should become a part of Ransard. The Narim crown is smelted and the metal is incorporated in the Ransardian crown.
Argold the Griffontamer is murdered by Trakorian spies. Joran the Golden is crowned Vortiger.
Joran the Golden falls in an ambush just before the battle of Haeron. Nerol Omric is crowned Vortiger and he ends the Timorian war.
Caorm Omric, the fourth son of Nerol is born.
The Black blood tribe of Krauk orcs constantly raids against the settlemets of Narim in Ransard. Whenever Ransardian forces gather to crush them, they scatter and flees to the mountains. The Red Moons escapes with much loot.
Nerols sons dies, one after the other and Nerol becomes paranoid and sees enemies everywhere. Nerol begins to be impopular amongst the clan chiefs. Caorm travels Ereb and learns as much as he can about foreign lands military techniques. Caorms achieves the name Caorm Elf-friend as his companion is an elf.
Ransard initiate diplomatic talks with the elves of the Kard forest.
The teocracy of Aleria attacks Narim. At the same time the Red Moon orcs uses a powerful spell to conceal themselves launches a vicious attack on the elves of Kard forest. They slaugther several settlements of the unprepared elves, which begs the Ransards for help. But the Ransardian forces have the Alerian army between them and the elves, and are unable to help. The elves stop communications with Ransard. The Ransardian forces led by Caorm launch a counter offensive against the Alarian forces and manages to destroy the invasion army. In the year 605 Caorm Elf-friend is murdered by his Timorian mistress, a deed who reeks of Trakorian influences. Argald swears to vengeance his father and start to gather his forces.
