Box of Souls

This small black box is made from burnt bone. Skulls are carved around the box's exterior. Its function is to hold a soul for the purpose of completing the ritual of lichdom.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

In order to get the box to hold a soul one must find a innocent person and lay the box upon their chest before killing them. Once this is done the box will devour the body and with it the soul. It is able to do this because of the powerful Daemon, Astradaemon trapped in the box. Once the soul has been devoured the Astradaemon is able to siphon the soul into a phylactery which is corrupted by the performer of the Lichdom ritual. After the phylactery is corrupted by the performer the box then takes the soul of the corrupter and puts it in the phylactery completing the ritual.
