Elkan Colster
Elkan came with Oldef Thaner and is an original inhabitant of Lumberfell . He does what he can to keep everyone healthy and happy, relying on his herbal remedies He employs Mildred Müller at his shop and relies on her wisdom especially when dealing with female customers.

Personal history
Elkan was born in the city of Naththalas in the year 1124 to an average family. He received a normal upbringing and education from his parents. Around the year 1135 a earthquake had hit the city and caused many deaths and a lot of devastation to many of the structures of the city. One of these buildings was Elkan's home. His mother, father and baby sister died in the quake, however he was saved by a priest of the The Church of Luthielle. Afterward he devoted his life to the church eventually becoming a priest at the age of 15, one of the youngest to ever do so. Two years later Elkan was married with a child on the way. Her name was to be Grace Colster, however, during child birth her mother died. With so much tragedy Elkan decided to leave the city and head southeast to a place called Wayhill. Wanting to forget his past Elkan gave his baby to a local orphanage and headed to the outskirts of the city where he found work as a medicine man. Eventually he made friends with a man named Oldef Thaner and left with him to found the village of Lumberfell.
In the summer of 1174 a young nun from the orphanage named Deborah Latheren came to see Elkan. She brought with her a baby girl and a grim warning. Elkan raised the girl and named her Elena Colster after his sister. He never spoke of her mother and his past, he only told her that her mother died during child birth. He taught Elena about medicine and healing treatments, he loved her more than anything and would do anything to protect her.

Elkan received his education from the state school of Naththalas and training from the The Church of Luthielle.

After the death of Elena's mother, Elkan raised his grand daughter teaching her herblisim and how to use it to heal others.
