Queen
Queens of Pelee are literally the mothers of their people. The Queens give birth, asexually, every year from maturity through their prime (about 50 years where they age very little), until around their 70s when they begin to age rapidly until their death.
All of the children born to the Queens are male, except for one (or at least that was how it went until Queen Azadora the single daughter has the title of Princess and is the heir.
When the Queen leaves the childbearing stage of her life, thus entering the rapid aging stage, she will usually step back and have the Princess assume the role of Queen with her guidance, although not the title. The title does not pass until death.
