Roses' Thorns Guards

The Roses' Thorns are the personal guard of the Queen & Princess of Pelee. They are an elite security unit under the direct command of the Commander General.

Qualifications and Requirements

Only women are accepted to serve in this force; it is believed in Pelesian society that men are too emotional and unreliable to be trusted with this kind of responsibility. In addition to being female, applicants must meet the following to be considered:

• Vision and hearing requirements
• Service record within the Pelesian military
• Physical abilities test
• Martial fitness test
• Proficiency with Mind Magic

The Mind Magic affinity of Spirit Magic is required for non-verbal communication.

Notable Members

Original Member

Keryn, 3rd Daughter of House Leadora, grew up hearing stories from her Aunt Lekha about fleeing the Free City of Seese during its destruction. The stories led her consider worse case scenarios for her own home and create plans to mitigate damage and recover. The worst scenario she could come up with was the death of their Queen and/or heir; this lead her to create the Roses' Thorns.

Youngest Member

The youngest member ever accepted to the Thorns was Dayza of House Roandra. She took it upon herself as a small child to watch over Princess Azalee; her martial training began that same year.
