Beatrix Aves (a.k.a. The Raven Queen)

Beatrix was discovered as an orphaned baby on the rainy streets of Grande. Pale white, the man who discovered her thought she was freezing to death and took her into his home to ease her cries. As she grew, both she and her adoptive father noticed her affinity towards birds, especially ravens. When her adoptive father died, she fell into a deep depression, while ravens kept coming to her en mass more and more. She became infuriated at the birds, just wishing to be alone. Where she went, despair followed. Death followed. She recalled her father's health gradually declining the more time she spent with him. Out of fear for the safety of her and others, she exiled herself to an abandoned castle on the outskirts of Castaway. From there she became a devout follower of Dakhelia, Mirah, and Eo. Over time she repaired her castle and legends began about her, calling her the Raven Queen from the number of ravens that were always seen with her. Her gods however gave her the title of the Reaper. Much to her dismay, they gave her the gift of immortality as well as the job of escorting the dead to Lathos with the ravens. Her ravens.
