Lyrinthia
History
Nestren, Toideaux, Alfrines and Ethana were four countries that always had border disputes with one another. After hundreds of years of minor warfare between two out of the four countries there was a series of events that set off an all out war involving all four countries fighting with one another. This was when a leader of one of the Ethanan armies decided enough was enough. This leader managed to gather support from factions from each of the four countries and managed to unify them all under one nation which he named after his family line, the Lyrinths, and thus Lyrinthia was born.
Demography and Population
Lyrinthia has a predominately human population with the more human like races, such as halflings, dwarfs and giants being more commonly found than the less human races like elves, orcs, goblins, etc.
Territories
Lyrinthia takes up the vast majority of the south eastern side of the continent of Zacan. However two countries prevent it from taking up much of the coast line.
Military
Due to the vast plains in parts of Lyrinthia, especially in what used to be Nestren, there is a strong emphasis on mounted units, mostly horseback to travel vast distances in a short amount of time.
Foreign Relations
To the North-West of Lyrinthia is the mountainous country of Vogrhia, the two countries are fairly neutral towards eachother, but do profit from trade with each other. Vogrhia has a lot of Dwarven cities, carved into mountains, meaning there is a lot of quarried stone and ore exported from there, while Lyrinthia provides fresh produce from it's vast agricultural lands.
