The Meet Gang War

The Meet is in a state of civil war and infighting. After The Stone Nomads unwittingly killed Sorgethar Ashgleam , leader of the Tunnel Rats, the gangs that make up The Meet have each accused each other of being behind the assassination.   As the three people seen leaving the tunnel system consisted of someone dressed like a pirate (Zorus "Quest" Azmerus ), a brutish looking half orc (Larek Zabub ) and someone who gave off a necromantic aura (Theodore "Twit" Wittle ), members of the Tunnel Rats at first suspected a combined effort of the Phantoms, the Attendants and the Resurrectionists. However, as the three people in question were seen heading into The Rook and Raven, people started to suspect it was the Black Talons who orchestrated the attack.   So far, the Mergewater City Guard and Lyrinthian Crownsguard have not gotten directly involved. They are under the impression that if the gangs wipe each other out, then the city will be better off for it.   So far, there has been no collateral damage, and any killings have been to members of Mergewater's underworld. However, with tensions running time, it is only a matter of time before this spills onto the streets and innocents get hurt, or worse, targeted by the gangs.

Gang Status

The Tunnel Rats

With their old leader Sorgethar Ashgleam killed, in-fighting has broken out in the power vaccuum. The gang is split three ways with four different people stepping up to become leader of the gang.    Ballamir Adrona wants to expand the operation by expanding their territory and stepping on the toes of other gangs to do so as an act of defiance.   Longash  wants nothing more than revenge for the death of Sorgethar and wants to take the other gangs down.   And finally, siblings Tram and Mohrah Robeko wants to expand by opening up a black market of fleeces and pawn shops to buy and sell illicit goods in the city.

The Black Talons

The Black Talons are being falsely accused of assassinating Sorgethar Ashgleam, and are trying to clear their name and regain the trust of the other members of The Meet.

The Attendants

The Attendants are taking full advantage of the bedlam and are taking territory once owned and operated by other gangs, expanding their reach and influence. The gang has the most muscle which is being used as

The Phantoms

The Phantoms are finding it a lot harder to smuggle goods into the city, thanks to the tunnel rats not operating normally, thanks to the in-fighting.

The Resurrectionists

The Resurrectionists are profiting from the chaos. Any death in this gang war can be converted into gold via any of the services they offer. They are quite happy to see this war last for as long as is necessary.

The Black Rose

The Order of the Black Rose is wanting to restore order. It was in their grand plans to eventually remove the criminal underbelly of the city, but thanks to the actions of two of their underlings, this war has started a lot earlier than they had planned for.   Luckily they have an inside man. Bezer Sagetrap, leader of the city guard of Merge water.
