Virtuoso of Requiem

A rather long lived Phantoms which is the subject of quite a few myths and legends, the Virtuoso of Requiem takes the form of a humanoid female with large butterfly wings and glowing antennae, arms which appear clad in chitinous plates along the forearms, legs which appear to resemble a type of dress which disappear into and blend with its surroundings, hollow eye sockets, and is decorated with seashells of all kinds and runic markings all over its figure from wings to fingers. The humanoid skeleton is visible through the Phantom's body as if the entity were caught in a permanent x-ray, with ghastly bones which appear segmented similar to the trunks of palm trees.

Reports of this Phantom are rare, and survivors of encounters with it are few. Witnesses claim that the entity is able to manifest musical instruments out of its own body and use them to play haunting, but enchanting and compelling compositions which are seemingly able to reap the souls of any individual who hears the melody and have been emotionally captivated or moved by the performance. It is also believed by the more experienced members of R.I.S.E. that this specific Phantom is special or unique compared to most, if not all, others, as it has shown that it is not an indiscriminate killer of all living things like the typical entities, nor does it target animals or plant life, only sapient beings. Also, due to the widespread accounts of reported encounters, the Phantom also appears able to choose to migrate to other areas apart from where it had originally manifested, whereas the common ilk of Phantoms are bound to a five to ten mile radius from their spawning point. This has made the Virtuoso a subject of intended study among scholars as well as agents of R.I.S.E. with the latter offering rewards for true information about the being.
