Artoa & Basartoa

Artoa & Basartoa, often referenced as the twin villages, are two grain harvesting villages. Most villagers living in Artoa or Basartoa are indeed farmers. These farmers look over the great stretches of lands covering the biggest area of land in the Alarean Region . The biggest part is used for all types of grains. As the name already may have suggested Basartoa was founded not long after Artoa, a bit to the south of its twin. Only 5 miles and the river Ibai separating the two villages, has created not only a bond between the two but also some healthy competition. Each year they hold a festival for both villages where they measure up each others harvest. The winner receives bragging rights and gets to be the host of next years festival.
