Alarean Region

The Region of Alarean, stretches out from the foot of the Mendiak Mountains in to the Garia plains. It is the largest province of the Kingdom of Pikor. Between the forest and the mountain ridges you will find miles and miles of fields. The land isn't particularly flat nor is it very hilly, however the grain fields do fill up the majority of the view. The capital of this province holds the same name and are the largest exporters of grain and its products and is enveloped by the one hill big enough to have a decent cliff on the other side. Close to the city you will find two towns : Garagar and Zekalea. Further out, the city has four neighboring settlements: Egur, Artoa, Arrain and Basartoa. These settlements are responsible for the harvest and upkeep of the crops and fields, the towns are responsible for the processing of said crops. The city of Alarean functions as a hub for all export of the processed goods.

Government

The Alarean Region is governed by the City Council of Alarean . The council rules over the city directly together with Edan Alar . The other settlements have regional leadership appointed. The villages have Sheriff's watching over them and towns have Lords or Ladies taking charge.

Geography

The Mendiak Mountains together with the Garia plainsdefine a most if not everything about the Alarean region, towering over the Garia plains. At the base of these mountains patches of forests form a barrier between most of the plain and the Mendiak Mountains. Further north a small river comes down the Mendiak Mountains and joins the Ibai river into the plains. The Ibai river then continues on through the Garia plains and is the main source of water throughout the region.
