Arkalochori

Arkalochori Cave sits in the hillside, with the small village of Galatas nearby. The cave itself is made up of three chambers, the center chamber is the first you enter, with two more chambers further in. Kaptorans come to Arkalochori in order to sacrifice Axes to the sacred Labrys.
Arkalochori is equidistant from the Idhian Cave and the Dyktean Cave (Psychro) both are said to be the legendary birthplace of the young god, Diwe.

Geography

Arkalochori is 120' above the valley below, it is protected from the wind by the mountain ridge which closes in the valley leaving only a narrow pass. Visitors must first walk through Galatas (who built a market along the main road), and then climb the hillside to the cave itself.
